Defining country music?

Country music nowadays is just separated by pop or rock by the emphasized southern accent. The subject matter usually consists of Jesus, Love, Heartbreak and ual metaphors..... Not that much different from rock or pop. Clic country like Johnny Cash and artists before him sang songs that told a story or traditional folk tales.
