Do you think the American people have lost the ability to correctly discern?

Great Question. Personal accountability has been almost totally removed from the thinking of at least 1/2 the population of America. Remember, most young people believe that MTV is a news channel and is an example of typical American thought. Most young people I know and observe do not have the slightest idea of the founding doents of America. That does not apply to just the young people but to the highest elected officials. There is a 'I am not responsible' mentality that believes that the Government will take care of everything. All they need to do is be willing to give up a little Freedom here and there.
