My Poor Advent Speakers ($&%# this $#^*)?

Ok, so I have Advent speakers(though Vista says they're realtek) and they don't work now. Vista says the speakers are working perfectly, but NO SOUND comes out of them. There is not even a troubleshooting on. What do i DO?!
