Cannot go to Navy DEP meatings....?

What happens if i cannot attend my Navy DEP meetings? My recruiter said i have to attend them once a month, but the office is over an hour away from my house and i do not have the money to pay for gas for the trip there and back. Please offer some advice. ANY is appreciated. THANK YOU!!!
