[Long, but worth it] Can anyone explain what I'm feeling for either of these boys?

i'm not really sure what your question is. it seems rather obvious to me that you like them both. if you're wondering if they like you, it certainly seems like jacob does. he's memorized certain facts about you. "opening up" was something i'd sometimes use to make girls more interested in me, or think i was more interesting, so its certainly possible he was doing that. chivalry is a plus and it's cool that he shows it, that you appreciate it, and that you even used the word. but paying for your food and movie tickets..i mean he may just be a nice guy, but those are generally things you do to a girl you atleast have an interest in. like i said, i'm not entirely certain what your question was, so if you were already completely aware that one or both of those boys likes you, i apoligize. as for your prayer it may or may not be a coincidence. i once prayed that god would put a girl in my life, specifically a friend, and it happened not long after. it was at a time in my life that i really needed some exposure to a girls mindset, and to learn from her, and i did.
