Great Britain vs Iraq. Is the British army far more powerful than the Iraqi Army.?

My high school teacher one said that the U.K. has far better technology than Iraq and far better weapons. And just for Education to some U.S. people, British do build and always have built a lot of their own military weapons. Just think about how many things that the military uses that are made from steel. A lot! Anyways just wondering what your opinion is. I would be disappointed if Great Britain weren't but I'm pretty sure my teacher was correct. Opinion Please. Thanks
