Feeling in lust over this girl for 4 months. now it hurts badly. please help.?

i am a 2nd year uni student aged 19. theres this really attractive girl in my cl. i did notice her during 1st year and felt absolutely nothing towards her. but for some reason the first day back as a 2nd year student when i saw her in the corridor as she asked me if we had a cl, i felf something like 'love from first sight'. i started thinking about her and looking at her more often. i tried to do some 'attempts' but they were all minor smiles and greetings, short questions. i never found the courage to do anything more than that because for the reason that she is like 2 years older than me and probably too good looking for me. she is a really really nice peson as well. now this other guy just appeared from nowhere he is like 3rd year and probably 1 year younger than her. he is shorted than her as well and looks like a 4eyed geek. now they are together because that guy had the courage to chat her up and become friends with her.i really feel hurt and in despair. i dont no wat todo
